Why is it that teenagers get more acne than kids, adults, and elders?
Because... of their out-of-control hormones (puberty). You don't have active hormones when you are a kid... and once you're older, the hormones are settled.
Hormonal and bodily changes is why it is more common in teenagers. This is when you need to develop a good skin routine for facial and body care. Some people don't develop acne until they are adults though.
yea, when ur a child your hormones arent as out of control as they are when ur going through pueberty and during the teenage years your hormones are raging and the smallest thing can trigger a huge reaction, so like if i eat chocolate cake for 4 days in a row i get tons of zits, but if my dad does too he might get one, but it will be barely noticeable and go away pretty quickly b/c his hormones are more in control

Teenagers have more hormones then adults because by the time we reach adulthood our hormones have leveled out. Just getting out of puberty makes our skin more oily and as I said harmones are all crazy.
During puberty, the hormones that regulate how much oil your body makes are going crazy, which typically causes teens to make more oil, which leads to more acne.
its prob. cuz of puberty
teens get more cause there going through puburty and everyone either hasn't done it, or is done with it.
